Jim Koch, founder of the Boston Beer Company, spoke with Bloomberg’s Pimm Fox and Courtney Donohoe about Sam Adams philanthropic program, Brewing the American Dream, and the motivation behind the program’s recent national expansion. Working in partnership with Accion, the country’s largest nationwide microlender, the national expansion will target at least $1 million in new loans and industry-specific coaching, mentoring, and educational resources to small food and beverage business owners across the country.
