The ARAMARK Building Community 2011 Innovation Awards will distribute $100,000 in grants to community centers to spur breakthrough solutions for helping at-risk families. Through these awards, ARAMARK and its partners, United Neighborhood Centers of America (UNCA) and the Alliance for Children and Families, will identify and share the most innovative work happening at the community level.

Bev Dribin, VP of community relations for ARAMARK said of the new initiative, “In the halls of corporate America much has been done to share the best of what’s working and constantly innovate to remain competitive. This same approach should be standard in the community and non-profit world.  We designed the ARAMARK Building Community Innovation Awards to recognize cutting edge, solution-driven work; share it across the field; and accelerate its growth.” Read more in the press release.
