Harriet loves to explore, whether it’s travelling to new places, speaking different languages or tasting exotic food – she is always looking for an adventure! She joined Cause Consulting from across the pond and, while she has embraced the weather, Boston sports teams and Samuel Adams, she has not yet relinquished her British accent.
Harriet has extensive experience working with companies and NGOs in the U.S. and Europe on cause-related programs, CSR strategies, public-private partnerships, communications and advocacy. She is particularly passionate about the power of purpose to drive positive social and environmental change.
Every day Harriet applies her global perspective to address new business and social challenges. She manages integrated, cross-company teams to create and rollout cause programs, such as New Balance SparkStart, a global signature initiative to inspire kids to be active worldwide. She has also driven the development and roll-out of the Brickman Group’s corporate purpose and values, and advised Kohler on stakeholder engagement, and Aramark its Global Volunteer Day Toolkit and messaging.
As a Senior Consultant for the UK’s consulting firm Good Business, she advised Liberty Global, Fiat, Telefonica and Everything Everywhere on their sustainable business strategy and communications. Harriet also provided ongoing strategic counsel to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, developing advocacy campaigns, measurement methodologies, and plans to expand the reach and impact of the organization in the developed and developing world.
Harriet is on the Net Impact Boston Leadership Team and is often found reading, tweeting or blogging about industry trends and events that inspire her.
