AMD Awards Olin College $300K to Promote Innovation in Engineering Education

AMD awarded Olin College of Engineering a three-year grant of $300,000 to support the Initiative for Innovation in Engineering Education (I2E2), the college’s effort to promote change in engineering pedagogy. The grant of $100,000 per year will provide operational support for I2E2’s curricular innovation workshops, custom consulting programs and other activities. “The grant represents the priority AMD places on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and the preparation of future engineers for a global workplace,” said Chekib Akrout, senior vice president, Technology Group, AMD.
